Pictures as promised - my new boots

    I can barely see these new boots. I think you need to work on your fashion photography. And I don't remember packing that coat--don't tell me you smuggled another one in! :P

    Look, I'm just starting out in fashion photography, okay, and now you've just totally crushed my confidence and I will probably never take another fashion shot again...except for the one I just posted in honour of you. The focus is clearly on the boots (and the runners) in that one, so I hope that satisfies even the most discerning of shoe photographers. Anyway, I did my best! (Do note also in that shot the typical Bishkek-apartment-style rug.)

    The coat was from the couple I'm staying with - very nice of them, as it's a good warm coat.
